Remco’s
cadre of supervisors and foreman consists of Craftsmen
with an average of 20 years’ field experience, the
most senior staff being on the job for 35 years. This
reservoir of talent oversees all projects and maintenance
assignments and serves to train and develop our staff
of technicians.
Remco’s
training program is comprised of several phases that are
conducted in our training facility and on-site training;
including actual on-the-job-sessions.
New personnel
receive:
-
Classroom
and shop orientation
-
Demonstration
programs designed to familiarize them with the scope
of work and inventory of specialized tools and materials
of the trade
-
Conceptual and manual training in the use of tools,
cleaning and finishing materials
-
Restoration and repair techniques and the highly skilled
work of oxidizing, polishing and spray coating of metal
surfaces
-
HAZCOM and OSHA compliance training through an industry/labor
program.
We teach the use
of both traditional and state-of-the-art methodologies, and
the careful handling of environmentally sensitive products
and procedures.
Our personnel are
intensively trained to erect the necessary scaffolding and
set up their job sites in a manner which is safe to themselves
and the general public, and which protects and maintains the
physical and operational aspects of the location in which
they are working.
New employees are
gradually integrated into our work force and progressively
assigned to more and more demanding work as their skills and
abilities evolve.
Periodically, and when new or unusual products or procedures
are introduced,
Remco managers and senior supervisors conduct review sessions
covering a full range of subjects including technical data,
site and personnel safety, maintenance of equipment and vehicles,
performance on the job site, and work quality standards. |
