  • A full time safety professional with more than 16 years experience in our industry. Trained in OSHA 500/501 Instructors Courses for General Industry and the Construction Industry, and in charge of all compliance issues including EPA, DEC, OSHA and other federal, state and local agencies have formulated Remco’s safety policy and procedures.
  • Safety Training: All employees are trained in safety procedures relevant to the industry including HAZCOM, scaffolding, fall protection, personal protective equipment and other safety related subjects.
  • Safety Manual: Management supervisory and office personnel possess
    a comprehensive Environmental Health and Safety Manual, and Hazard Communications Manual written by our Vice-President of Compliance & Safety.

    Each Remco vehicle maintains a "red MSDS binder" containing all Material Safety Data Sheets for materials utilized in the field as well as an abridged HAZCOM, Respirator, Spill Control Programs and First-Aid Procedures.

  • Safety Meetings: Working Safety Committee made up of management
    and field personnel meet once per month
  • OSHA Compliance: All executive and supervisory personnel have attended the 10-hour OSHA Training course and the Scaffold Erector, Dismantler and User Training course.

    More than 30% of our field personnel have been trained in the New York City Department of Buildings Suspended Scaffold Training for Rigging Foreman and Crews.

  • Risk Assessment Procedures: Proper determination including incident review and analysis of work-related injuries, illnesses, accidents and property damage performed by Vice President of Compliance & Safety.
